Registered Dietician

Andrea Patacini

Inpatient Services:
The Dietician screens each inpatient to determine nutrition risks.  She then plans nutritional intervention for patients found to be at risk. She will also provide diet education and planning to patients in the hospital, this includes working with the Food Services department to plan appropriate meals for each hospitalized patient.

Outpatient Services:
Outpatient services are provided for those seeking nutritional advice related to numerous medical conditions such as obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other on going medical concerns.

Our Registered Dietician works with patients who are referred by their primary care provider.  She will also work with patients who contact her directly seeking services.  Patients should register with the Admitting Department on the day of appointment, prior to one-on-one session with the Dietician.  Please bring your insurance information with you at the time of your appointment.

Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME):
The Dietician assists the Diabetes Educator in teaching the nutrition session of the DSME classes held monthly at SCH.  Dietician may see a diabetes patient one-on-one as appropriate per Diabetes Educator referral.
