Sunnyside Community Hospital Foundation

Sunnyside Community Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic support organization of the Sunnyside Community Hospital & Clinics.  The hospital prepares for the future of the communities of the Lower Yakima Valley, with the support of Lower Valley residents, businesses, and associations who support the Foundation.

In 2010, fundraising results from the annual events - Evening in the Park, 18th Annual Golf Tournament, and Festival of Trees - were at their highest levels to date, all thanks to the tremendous support of our contributors and participants. 

In December of 2007, the Foundation capped its largest success to date with the opening of the new Emergency Department. Patients and staff have both been overwhelmingly pleased with the result of this near $3 million remodeling project.

If you are already a part of “Building for the Future”, we thank you!  You have been critical to the success we have achieved thus far.  If you are not yet, there are many opportunities for you to join us in ensuring we meet the healthcare needs of our valley. The Foundation is actively seeking planned gifts, memorials, and other contributions to the future of Lower Yakima Valley health care needs.

In 2010, six new physicians were recruited into the Sunnyside Community Hospital family of providers.  Yet, our growing area still needs more nurses, physicians, and health care personnel.  The Foundation can be your vehicle to make sure the quality of life we enjoy today in Sunnyside, Grandview, Mabton, Granger, Outlook, Bickleton, Mattawa and the surrounding areas will be sustained for our children and grandchildren.
