Valley Internal Medicine is proud to care for adult and geriatric patients in our Valley. We are located on Edison Avenue directly across from Sunnyside Community Hospital. There is ample off-street parking and disabled parking spaces close to the front entrance.

Dr. Anna Madej joined the staff at Valley Internal Medicine in March 2007 and has been busy getting to know the patients in our clinic. She joins us from a medical practice in Centralia, Washington. Dr. Madej is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is currently available for consultation for adult medicine care, as well as limited availability for new patients to establish.

Dr. Tim Calayan joined Valley Internal Medicine in September 2009, and is building a busy adult medicine practice in our clinic. Dr. Calayan comes to us following the June 2009 completion of his residency training in New York City, and he is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. We are fortunate to have this highly trained physician in our clinic and he welcomes new patient inquiries. Dr. Calayan provides consultative services, as well as primary care for adults.

The newest provider addition to Valley Internal Medicine is Tyrell Nielson, PA-C. Ty joined our clinic in September 2010 from recent completion of his training in Des Moines, Iowa. He is currently accepting new patients into his care. We invite you to stop in the clinic to inquire about the availability of all of our Internal Medicine providers.

Internal Medicine services within Sunnyside Community Hospital are provided by the hospital based physicians, Dr. Coke Smith, Dr. Francesco Vinci, and Dr. Michael Gawlik. Dr. Madej and Dr. Calayan also provide in-patient care at the hospital on a rotating basis. These board certified Internists are available for adult patients in our community who require Internal Medicine or critical care in the hospital setting.

We are accepting and welcoming new patients and are able to assist patients in a timely manner. Most insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare, Medicaid, Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Shield and other common commercial insurances.
