Sunnyside, Grandview and the rest of the Lower Yakima Valley is a culturally diverse region of nearly 40,000 people living in the Yakima Valley between the City of Yakima on the west and Tri-Cities, Washington on the east.

Sunnyside, at 14,000 people, is the second largest city in Yakima County. Sunnyside is a retail hub for the Valley area. Sunnyside High School is a 3A High School. Sunnyside Christian High School is a private non-denominational religious sponsored high school also located in our community. Both schools offer excellent educational opportunities for their students. The schools also work together on some extra curricular activities. Sunnyside High School is noted for excellence in debate, the Washington State Science Fair, DECA and other educational competitions.

Grandview, 5 miles east of Sunnyside is the site for a new Walmart Regional Distribution Warehouse. We are excited to welcome the Walmart company to our Valley.
